Mr. Sidney "Bootsy" Gray Parchman
October 30, 1960 - February 22, 2022
Sidney “Bootsy” Parchman (Gray) was born October 30, 1960 in Forrest City, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Sidney Gray and Willene Parchman. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents—Mr. Anthony Gray and Mrs. Viola Gray; maternal grandparents—Mr. Sammy Parchman and Mrs. Magnolia (Boone) Parchman; and a sister—Mrs. Rita Diane (Parchman) Swift Brown. Sidney received his education in the Forrest City School District. He made a home in California and Texas for some years before returning to Forrest City, where he resided until his passing. He loved family, fishing, and putting things together. He once put a lawnmower motor on one of his bicycles as a child and made a fish tank out of a floor model television. He was also known in his circle of friends as “the fastest man in Grobmyer Circle.” In all things he did, you could guarantee he did it with a smile! He leaves to cherish his memory two sons—Reco L. Hilliard and Terrell McShan both of Forrest City, AR; one aunt—Mrs. Betty J. (Parchman) Anthony of Forrest City, AR; seven sisters—Mitzi Gray (Robert J. Jr.) Green of Lancaster, TX, Kikanza Gray of Los Angeles, CA, Connie Parchman and Porsche (Clifton) Horton both of Arlington, TX, Tammy LaTonya (Craig) Jones and LaToya Lucas both of Forrest City, AR, Tiffany (Levar Sr.) Livingston of Fayetteville, AR; one brothers—John Gray of Forrest City, AR; a special cousin—Mr. Danny Ray Anthony; a special friend—Mrs. Diane Humphrey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
