Mr. Roy Lee Hamilton Sr.

Roy Lee Hamilton, Sr. was born August 8, 1960 to the late Herman Lee and Mozela Nalls Hamilton in Forrest City, Arkansas. Roy Lee Hamilton, Sr. confessed his hope in Christ at an early age. He was baptized and became a member of the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Lee Hamilton, Jr. He graduated from Forrest City High School and immediately entered the work world. Roy retired from Wal Mart Store #91 after 20 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman Lee and Mozela Nalls Hamilton; one brother, Odis Hall. He passed on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was a wonderful, generous, hospitable, gracious, always learning, and wise man to the very end! Roy Lee Hamilton, Sr. leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Markeith Gordon, Roy (Camille) Hamilton, Jr., and Roderick (Marteva) Hamilton; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; six sisters, Georgette Lindsey Frankie, Claudine Burns, Glenda (Kenneth) Moore, Belinda Johnson, Erna B. Hamilton, Anita Hamilton, and Tonya Hamilton; two brothers, Elbert L. (Peggy) Hamilton and Donnie L. Hamilton; one aunt, Juanita White; and a host of family and friends.
