Marcus was raised by his grandparents of Forrest City, Arkansas. Mr. John Ursery Sr. and Mrs. Juanita Ursery, both deceased. Marcus attended school in Forrest City, Arkansas. Marcus has been on many ventures with his time here on earth. Marcus moved to St. Louis, Missouri during his adult life with other family members where he lived for many years. He later returned to his hometown in Forrest City until he decided to ventured to another city: (Dyersburg, Tennessee), where he remained. He later returned to his home in Forrest City, Arkansas to help care for his grandmother until her demise. Marcus was a caring, loving, and funny individual if you knew him. He had a special love for his "Family". Marcus departed his life venture here on earth December 18th, 2021 at his home in Forrest City, Arkansas. Marcus will be missed by many, especially his family members. He will be remembered for his "talking" and the famous "sauce" he invented for his chicken wings, that he wanted everyone to taste. Marcus leaves to cherish his fond memories; a wife: Callie B. Ursery of Newport, AR; four children, Maleek Ursery of Hot Springs, AR and Marcus Ursery, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Marilyn Ursery of Newport, AR, and Mariyah Ursery of Little Rock, AR; mother, Peggy Swift; two brothers, Johnny Ursery, III and Demingo Swift of Forrest City, AR; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, associates, and one special friend, Ms. Sherocka Bell of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
