Mr. Jacobie F. Butler Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jacobie Frandell Butler, “Cobie”, was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1989 to Herman and Charlene Phillips Butler in Memphis, Tennessee. He accepted Christ and was baptized November 5, 2005 at St. Mary Redeeming Spiritual Church in Madison, Arkansas by Elder Timothy McFadden, but he was under the leadership of Pastor Bessie Goff. He later united with the Whole Bible Church Jesus Christ under the leadership of Apostle D. A. Wirt and was baptized in Jesus’ name on November 11, 2018. He attended the Forrest City public schools; however, he decided to advance and get his GED where he completed a year prior to his expected graduation in October 2007. He continued his education at EACC for two years and later attended CRTI where he received certification in HVAC. Cobie was known for his artwork and his love of music. He was very independent and kept a job. His last employment was in Hot Springs, Arkansas with a plastic manufacturer. Cobie was preceded in death by his sister at birth; maternal grandfather—Jobie Phillips; and paternal grandfather—Frank Butler, Sr. He leaves to cherish his parents—Herman and Charlene Butler; brothers—Herman (Candice) Butler of Sparta, Wisconsin, Corey (Paige) Butler of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three nieces—Ivorie, Rilan and Kaidence Butler; maternal grandmother—Velma Phillips; paternal grandmother—Ethel Butler; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
