He was the only child of Aretha Brown. Gerry departed his earthly life Monday, July 5, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father–Gerry Rogers; one son— Gerryontae Brown; his grandmothers—Mary Washington and Janetta Rogers; one great grandmother—Martha Howard; two grandfathers— Nathaniel Rogers, Sr. and Samuel Howard; and a special companion— Tenika Stewart. Gerry attended Forrest City High School. He later moved to San Antonio, Texas, where his health began to fail and his life’s journey ended. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother - Aretha Brown of Forrest City, Arkansas; three daughters—Nikiyah, Janiyah, and Gerronah Brown all of San Antonio, Texas; one son—Demarquez Sinclair also of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters—Dominique Dillard, KiAira Dillard, and SeAira Watson; two brothers—Steve Clark of Forrest City and Taravis Williams of San Antonio, Texas; six aunts—Christie, ShaWanda, Nita, Anetta, Eunice, and Pam all of Forrest City; three uncles—Daniel Brown of Dallas, Texas, Gerry Rogers of Indiana, and Nathaniel Rogers of Forrest City, Arkansas; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
