December 12, 1930 - April 27, 2020
At the foundation of this Earth, God knew on December 4, 1930, a son would be born to the union of the late Lena Crawford and the late Floyd Doggett in Olive Branch, MS. He would be named Floyd, Jr. “Junior”, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was united in marriage to Marguerite Wilson on August 11, 1952. To this union, eleven children were born. Junior confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of Kingdom Deliverance International Ministries (formerly Golden Leaf MBC) under the leadership of Pastor Jermaine Weeden. He served faithfully as a deacon until his health failed. He could often be heard singing God’s praises with The Masonic Travelers for over fifty years. Junior was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond & Mont Doggett; one daughter, Vera Wilson; two sons, Zayron Doggett & Ricky Doggett; two granddaughters, JoAnn Doggett & Tanis Hollingsworth; one son-in-law, Howard Hodo; brother and sister-in-law, George and Earline Wilson-Dye. He leaves behind to cherish his memories and continue his legacy: his wife of sixty-seven years, Marguerite; eight daughters, Irene Wilson-Anthony of Dallas, TX, Lena Marie Brown, Margaret (WC) Tobar, Carlene Doggett, Maudean Dean, all of Trumann, AR, Linda (Willie) Foxx of Little Rock, AR, Eva Leigh Doggett of Marked Tree, AR, Neva Doggett-Hodo of Pontiac, MI; one son, Curtis (Anisa) Doggett of Trumann, AR; 49 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, his church family, and friends.
