Mrs. Connie LeRoyal Taylor Edwards

November 8, 1962 - December 28, 2021

Connie was born November 8, 1962 to Frank Taylor and Willie Mae Richardson. She was a graduate of Forrest City High School in Forrest City Arkansas. Connie later attended Lane College in Jackson TN and graduated with her degree in Sociology in 1987. Connie loved all things tennis, on any given day she can be seen watching, playing or officiating the game. She started playing tennis at a young age and it became her passion. She got her only grandson involved with the sport and became his coach. Connie also enjoyed ping pong, darts and playing spades. Connie was the baby out of fourteen children, seven of whom preceded her in death, Steven, David, Theotis, Brenda, James, Marylin, and Annie. She leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters, Cheryll Parker, of Nashville, TN and Patrecia Edwards of Detroit, MI; one grandson Antonio Perez of Nashville, TN and one granddaughter Gianna "GiGi" Dennis of Nashville, TN; four brothers, Elbert (Helen) Dumas of Madison, AR; James Dumas of Forrest City, AR; Donald Curtis of Marianna, AR; Fred (Sherry) Taylor of Arlington, TX and three sisters Minnie (Hershal) Hall of Bedford Heights, OH, Sandra Curtis of Forrest City, AR and Johnnie Taylor of Memphis, TN. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to celebrate her home going.
