Mr. Antonio “Duke” “Spook KO” Carr

Antonio Darnell Akeem Carr affectionately known as “Duke” & “Spook G” passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, in Hasting, Nebraska. Antonio lived a full life in every sense of the phrase. He was a self-made and resilient man who touched and influenced the lives of countless people over 31 incredible years. Antonio was born in Elgin, Illinois on May 4, 1989, to Ollie Peters, Jr. and Erma Carr. He confessed his hope in Christ at an early age. He was baptized and became a member of the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Ray Peals, Jr. Antonio attended Forrest City High School in Forrest City, Arkansas where he graduated in 2007. He was well known and respected in his community. Upon graduation he was employed locally at Pizza Hut and later ventured to Hot Springs and was employed at Magic Springs. He later moved to Nebraska and did commercial construction. Antonio will be missed by all but always remembered through the incredible legacy he leaves behind, and the meaningful impact he had on the many lives he has touched. Antonio is preceded in death by his grandparents—Bobby Carr, Paul and Beatrice Broyles, Evelyn Jackson and Willie M. Peters; and a brother—Ollie “Trey” Peters, III. He leaves to cherish his children—Antonio Carr, Jr., Kaderion Carr, Alana Carr, Ke’marion Carr, A’marion Carr, Araya Carr, and Armani Carr; his parents—Erma Carr-Broyles & Samuel Broyles, and Ollie and Cecilia Peters; grandparents—Emma Foster and Ollie Peters, and Nathaniel Jackson; great-grandmother— Lucy Crawford; siblings—Aleshia Carr and Exxie Clark, April Broyles-Collins and Dontello Collins, Demarcus Lockett, Kristen Long, Kenyetta Jackson, Donya Lockett, Michael Jackson, Jalissa Peters, Deandrea Jackson, Laterria Broyles, Tawanna Broyles, Trina Broyles, and Latrice Broyles;a special woman in his life—Samantha Medina; special friends—Francine, Kimberly, Lydia, Diante, Lonny, Jaylan, and Julia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
