Miss Tiwana Hamilton

Tiwana Hamilton, affectionately known as "Big Cuz," was born on January 1, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, to Rev. Ira V. Hamilton and the late Johnnie Marie Wallace. At an early age, she relocated to Forrest City, Arkansas, where she was lovingly raised by her grandmother, the late Johnnie B. Wallace. Tiwana peacefully departed this life on June 18, 2026, at the age of 55. At a young age, Tiwana accepted Christ at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Lee Hamilton, Sr. She later became a faithful member of Redeeming Spiritual Church #24, where she worshiped under the leadership of Pastor Clarence James until the Lord called her home. Tiwana was truly the heartbeat of her family and friends. Known for her unforgettable personality, she often jokingly referred to herself as "the number one female trash talker." Her infectious laughter, generous spirit, kind heart, and unwavering support for those she loved made her someone people naturally gravitated toward. She had a gift for bringing joy into every room she entered and left behind countless cherished memories. A proud graduate of Forrest City High School's Class of 1989, Tiwana continued her education at Crowley's Ridge Technical Institute, where she earned certifications in Welding, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and Childhood Development. She was a dedicated employee of the Fairfield Marriott Inn & Suites, where her warm smile, caring nature, and sense of humor made every guest feel like family. In her spare time, Tiwana enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved ones. She loved fishing, playing Spades, dominoes, pool, singing, bartending, especially her famous "Big Cuz Specials," and making everyone around her laugh. She was preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Marie Wallace; her grandparents, Luther and Johnnie B. Wallace; Rev. Lee Hamilton, Sr. and Beatrice Hamilton; her siblings, Trish Katrice Hamilton, Christopher Prater, and Zondra Williams-Belt; her close cousin, Rita Kay Scott; and her best friend, Deborah Bowman-White. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughter, Falisha Rogers; her beloved grandchildren, A'maurie Rogers and Amir Rogers; her father, Rev. Ira V. Hamilton; her siblings, Wendy Kay Parker, Anita Williams, and Adam Adullam; her close cousins, Laquandra Williams, Deeangila Wallace, Tonya Frye, and Claudine Hamilton Burns; her close friends, Donna Thomas and Dorris Morris; her special friend, Kevin Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever treasure her life and legacy. Her laughter will be missed, her love will be remembered, and her memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.of all who knew and loved her.
