Mr. Theodis "Big June" Haggins, Jr.

Mr. Theodis Haggins, Jr. was born on August 17, 1983, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to Theodis Haggins, Sr. and Lucille Tobar Haggins. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 42. Theodis was raised in Forrest City, Arkansas, where he attended the Forrest City School District. During his school years, he enjoyed playing football and proudly graduated from Forrest City High School with the Class of 2002. Theodis was a hardworking man who believed in staying busy and taking pride in his work. He was employed for many years at Golden Corral, where he was known as a dependable and dedicated employee. In his leisure time, Theodis enjoyed playing games, basketball, and football. He loved sports and found joy in friendly competition, laughter, and spending time with those around him. His love for games and athletics brought him many enjoyable moments throughout his life. Above all, Theodis loved his family. He was a devoted son, loving father, proud grandfather, caring brother, and cherished friend. His children and grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and the memories they shared with him will remain a lasting source of comfort. Theodis was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Haggins; his grandparents, William “Bill” Tobar, Eva Scott Tobar, Jessie Mae McDonnell Haggins, and John Wesley Haggins; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Magdalene Sykes, Willie Tobar, Charlie Tobar, David Tobar, John Henry Tobar, Aaron Tobar, Steve Tobar, Louise Tobar, Luella Tobar, Walter “Pap” Tobar, Eloise Stokes, Lenora Young, Lenora Pettis Taylor, Lawrence Tobar, Ethel Mae Young, and Jerry Tobar. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving parents, Theodis Haggins, Sr. and Lucille Tobar Haggins; two children, Martell Haggins and Jayla Haggins; five grandchildren; two sisters, Tina Tobar (Tyrone Hall) and Shonda Tobar (Joe Green); his aunt, Johnetta Haggins; his uncle, Sammy Tobar; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Although his earthly journey has ended, Theodis will continue to live on through the love he shared, the work of his hands, and the many memories created with his family and friends. His life will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him. “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die.” Ecclesiastes 3:1–2
