Mrs. Talesha Michelle Strong

With hearts filled with sorrow, yet gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life and legacy of Mrs. Talesha Michelle Strong, who peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on June 10, 2026, at the age of 55. Talesha Michelle Strong was born on October 24, 1970, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to Christal Jones Taylor and the late Johnny Taylor, Sr. From an early age, she exhibited the strength, determination, and resilience that would define her life and inspire all who knew her. She graduated from Forrest City High School as a member of the Class of 1989. Following graduation, she pursued higher education at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff before earning her degree in Criminology from Arkansas State University. Her commitment to education reflected her belief in hard work, perseverance, and personal growth. Throughout her professional career, Talesha was employed by Dixie Food, Whitaker Manor, the Housing Authority, Boar's Head, and most recently CB&I | McDermott International. She approached every position with dedication, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. At an early age, Talesha accepted Christ and was baptized at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Madison, Arkansas. She later united with Greater Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop C. L. Moore, where she remained steadfast in her faith. Talesha possessed a vibrant personality, a strong spirit, and a heart devoted to those she loved. She was known for speaking her mind, standing firmly on her convictions, and always putting her family first. Her presence commanded attention, yet beneath her strength was a caring woman who treasured every moment spent with those closest to her. She had a lifelong love for sports. While attending Forrest City High School, she proudly played volleyball and remained an avid supporter of softball throughout her life. She also enjoyed traveling and making memories with family and friends, embracing every opportunity to experience new places and adventures. One of the greatest blessings of her life was her love story with Alvin Strong. Their journey began during their youth and blossomed into a lifelong bond that endured through the years. On July 17, 1989, they were united in holy matrimony and shared a lifetime of love, commitment, friendship, and cherished memories together. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Taylor, Sr.; her beloved grandson, Josiah Strong; her maternal grandparents, Lottie Black and Casey Jones; and her paternal grandparents, Mose Taylor, Sr. and Christine Howard Taylor. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband, Alvin Strong; her loving children, Marquetta Michelle Strong and Justin Pieree’ Strong; her cherished grandchildren, Syncere Kyler Little, Jream Dierre Little, and Jaxton Pieree’ Strong; her beloved mother, Christal Taylor; her brothers, Anthony Taylor, Terry Taylor, Barry Taylor, Greg Turner, Keith Taylor, and Johnny Taylor, Jr.; her sisters, Jacqueline Taylor, Kacy Taylor, and LaCandice Willis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
