Miss Orajean Faye Bartlett

Orajean gained her wings on May 2, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Orajean Faye Bartlett was born on March 23, 1969, in Stuttgart, AR, to Benjamin Bartlett Sr. and Virginia Lee Winscott. She attended schools in Michigan and graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, Michigan. Orajean was a true nurturer at heart—compassionate, caring, and always ready to give of herself to those in need, especially her family. With a heart full of kindness, she nurtured everyone around her. A natural caregiver, she touched countless lives—from her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, siblings, and cousins. She had the gift of making others feel safe and seen. She loved to party, to dance, and to celebrate the people she loved. Orajean had an infectious smile and a joyful laugh that could light up a room—both of which will be deeply missed, yet forever etched in the hearts of those who loved her. Today, we don’t just mourn her—we celebrate her. We celebrate the joy she brought, the love she gave, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Orajean was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Edward Bartlett; brother, Benjamin Edward Bartlett II; grandmother, Ora Lee Richardson; nephews, Cashad Jerry-Jaheim Pops and Aaron Rudolph Johnson Bey; and her aunt, Pearl Foreman. Orajean leaves a legacy of love, light, and cherished memories with her three sons: Quinton Dalton of Lansing, MI; Gregory Dalton of Battle Creek, MI; and Deshun Dalton of Jonesboro, AR; one daughter, Latricia Dalton of Memphis, TN; and her beloved grandchildren: Quinton Dalton Jr., Ameer Dalton, Cameron Dalton, Zah’layah Jackson, Ze’Shawn Dalton, and Cash Dalton. She is also survived by her mother, Virginia Price of Jonesboro, AR; four siblings: brother, Lool (Nikkida) Price Jr. of Lansing, MI; sisters, Ericka Price of Pensacola, FL, Isha Price of Jonesboro, AR, and Dina Bartlett of Tulsa, OK; two aunts: Queen Elizabeth (Stacy) Reed of Lansing, MI, and Veonia Jackson of Jonesboro, AR; great-aunt, Stella Harvey of Compton, CA; nephews, Paris Price, Charles Pops, Jamon Price, and Michael Parker; nieces, India Mitts, Nikira Price, DaeLynn Price, and Jaya Pops; special cousin, Shadaryl Franklin; and a host of cousins, great-nephews, nieces, and very close friends.
