Mrs. Michelle Jackson, 53, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Affectionately known as “Renee,” she was loved by many for her vibrant personality, outspoken nature, and heart of gold. Michelle Jackson was born on March 28, 1973, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to Mary Murphy Hunter and was raised by Emmanuel Hunter, Sr. She attended the Forrest City School District and was known for her warm spirit, outgoing personality, and the joy she found in spending time with family and friends. Renee never met a stranger. She loved talking, laughing, and keeping everyone entertained with her lively personality and caring spirit. Beneath her strong and outspoken demeanor was a compassionate woman who genuinely loved people and always extended kindness to those around her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved her family deeply and found great happiness in caring for those she loved most. Her grandchildren were truly the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Whether offering words of encouragement, sharing laughter, or simply being present during difficult times, Michelle made a lasting impact on the lives of many. Throughout her life, Michelle embraced every role with strength, grace, and determination. Her gentle spirit, loving heart, and unwavering support for her family and friends will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Michelle was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, McKinley and Mary Murphy, and Albert and Mary Lee Hunter; her brothers, Emmanuel Hunter, Jr. and Marcus Murphy; her sister, Talisha Hunter; along with several aunts and uncles who welcomed her into eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother, Mary M. Hunter of Forrest City, Arkansas; her father, Emmanuel (Henerine) Hunter; her children, Candace Foster of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Allen Sanders, Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Katasha Sanders (James) Towner of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Tisia Foster of Jonesboro, Arkansas; fifteen cherished grandchildren; her sisters, Angela Murphy of Osceola, Arkansas, Carolyn Murphy of Forrest City, Arkansas, and Christina (David) Smith of Leavenworth, Kansas; her brothers, Tyrone (Jackie) Moore of Waterloo, Iowa, Earnest Moore of Forrest City, Arkansas, and Bobby Phillips of Forrest City, Arkansas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many special friends who will forever treasure her memory. Michelle touched countless lives through her warmth, kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Though her earthly journey has ended, her beautiful spirit and precious memories will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. “Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
