NOTE FROM THE FAMILY: Many of you are familiar with my brother, Lacorey M. “Luwop” Bogard, who recently passed away. Since his passing, numerous individuals have expressed their desire to offer condolences. As his younger sister, I am finding it challenging to assist my grandmother in planning his funeral. LaCorey Marquette Bogard, affectionately known as “LuWop”, was born February 23, 1999 to Miranda Bogard and Willie Young. He departed his life on Saturday, January 12, 2025, at Forrest City Medical Center. “LuWop” enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. He also enjoyed going on family vacations. “LuWop” was a proud member of the graduating class of 2018 at Forrest City High School. After finishing high school, “LuWop” entered the workforce. He worked at Boars Head, Hino Motors, and McDonalds of Forrest City, Arkansas. “LuWop” was always the life of the party, from his bright smile to his trendy attire. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. His favorite hobbies were taking pictures, playing with his nieces and nephews, and watching his favorite WWE wrestling. “LuWop” is preceded in death by his mother—Miranda Bogard; his grandmother—Lenora Young; grandfathers—Arthur Bogard and James Young; and an aunt—Paula Parker. “LuWop” leaves to cherish his memories his grandmother—Minnie Parker of Forrest City, Arkansas; father—Willie Young of Los Angeles, California; grandmother– Marie Bogard (Arthur) Forrest City, Arkansas; three brothers— Cardavian Bogard of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Braylon Coulter of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Juwon Hopkins of Forrest City, Arkansas; sister—Samiya Bogard of Forrest City, Arkansas; three nieces—Miyana Harris, Car’Diyae Bogard, and Carma Bogard; four nephews—Cayden Bogard, Camden Bogard, Ca’Rione Bogard, and Cayvion Bogard all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one uncle—Tyrone Maddox of Jonesboro, Arkansas; a special sister—Laquesha Harris of Forrest City, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
