Miss Jasylin Simone Williams

Jasylin Simone Williams was born on September 2, 1992, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to Teresa Horton and the late Jeffery Williams. From an early age, Jasylin’s life was rooted in faith, family, and love. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age under the spiritual guidance of her father, Pastor Calvin Smith, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She later united with Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she continued to grow in faith under her father’s leadership. Jasylin received her education in the Lee County School District and graduated with the Class of 2011. During her high school years, she was actively involved in volleyball and cheerleading, activities that reflected her quiet strength, teamwork, and school spirit. Following graduation, she furthered her education at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She entered the workforce with dedication and diligence, working at Kids for the Future in Forrest City and later at Boar’s Head Provisions. Though gentle and soft spoken by nature, those who knew Jasylin best understood her warm heart and her joyful, outgoing spirit. Above all else, her greatest earthly treasures were her daughters. Her girls were truly her pride and joy, and she poured into them love, protection, and devotion. Jasylin was preceded in death by her father, Jeffery Williams; her grandparents, Leon Horton, Fannie Woodard, Amos Williams, Sr., and Arena Poole Williams. Having fought a good fight and finished her course, Jasylin peacefully answered the Master’s call on December 12, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith,” and truly, Jasylin’s life reflected perseverance, faith, and quiet strength to the very end. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her precious children, Harmoni and Jersi London of Marianna, Arkansas; bonus son, Quantez London of Forrest City, Arkansas; her devoted parents, Teresa (Calvin) Smith of Marianna, Arkansas and Leomie Williams of Forrest City, Arkansas; her beloved grandmothers, Arlene Woodard of Forrest City, Arkansas and Carrie Bogart of Marianna, Arkansas; her grandfather, Calvin (Bobbie) Smith, Sr., of West Memphis, Arkansas; her sisters, Camahya Smith of Marianna, Arkansas, LaShundra “Sunshine” White of Forrest City, Arkansas, Audrey Williams of Marianna, Arkansas, Carnora Smith of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Versie Smith of Marianna, Arkansas; her brothers, Calvin (Markesi) Smith, III, of Little Rock, Arkansas, Steve (Tiara) Mathis of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Roy (Cansella) White of Wynne, Arkansas; godparents, Doris and LC Randle of Forrest City, Arkansas; her special friends, Marcia White of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rosetta Lusk of Strong, Arkansas, and Keyunte Matthews of Pueblo West, Colorado; along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Jasylin’s love, faith, and legacy will continue to live on through her children and all who were blessed to know her.
